Therapy Services
I work primarily with couples and families, focusing on how patterns of interactions may keep
problems from being solved.  I also work with children age 10 and older, as well as individuals. The
issues I address include:

  • marital distress
  • pre-marital counseling
  • intimacy
  • parent-child conflict
  • step parenting issues
  • divorce adjustment
  • trauma recovery
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • anger management
  • stress management
  • infertility and adoption
  • grief and loss

I am trained as a facilitator in the Prevention & Relationship Enhancement  Program (
PREP™) and I
teach a class for couples called Learn to Love Your Marriage,  based on the text,
Fighting for Your
Marriage
.  See Class Schedule page for current details.

Mindfulness based therapies are shown to be effective for reducing symptoms of depression and
anxiety, and helping people avoid relapse. I have completed a variety of trainings in mindfulness and
meditation, and maintain my own practice. I introduce these concepts and practices as it seems
helpful to do so with clients.

I offer appointments on weekdays, including evening hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Initial appointments are 75 minutes, and I charge $220.  Ongoing appointments are 50 minutes, and
the fee per session is $145, payable by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard at the time services are
provided. There is a $5 discount for payment by cash or check.
